Select One or All Nine Riata RF System Modules to Increase

the Inventory Throughput of Each Warehouse Employee...

Purchase Order Receiving

Once a Purchase Order is entered into the accounting system one or more warehouse employees can be put to work with wireless hand held devices (HHD) to receive and place inventory in the warehouse. Stores, bins, lots and serialization are all supported throughout a Riata RF Warehouse Management System. With the "Put Away" feature inventory can be received and physically gathered in a temporary location, such as a pallet, and then assigned to a specific warehouse location at a later time as the items are placed into position. Bar code labels can be printed as inventory is received. Inventory received through the Riata RF System is instantly entered into the accounting system and available for shipment and invoicing.

Sales Order Picking & Shipping

A sales order is scanned or keyed into the HHD to identify quantities and locations of items needed to fill the SO. The HHD will display item location, quantities available, etc. Riata RF prompts for the next item as each item is picked. All Riata RF transactions are validated to prevent duplicate picks. The packing slip can be printed on demand from the HHD. Completed SO's are prepared for release by an authorized employee; the inventory is instantly relieved from the accounting system and the invoices are posted to accounts receivable.

Physical Inventory

Using the Riata RF System to take a physical inventory not only eliminates errors in the counts but also the down time required to process the inventory once the counts are completed! Employees are dispatched to scan bar codes or key enter item counts. Once the counting is done all business activities can be re-activated: shipping, receiving, transfers, etc. Inventory audits, reconciliations, etc. are completed within the Riata RF inventory batch file and then posted to the real time inventory once all adjustments are approved. With the Riata RF Physical Inventory System module the only time required to halt operations is the time necessary to take the counts...period!

Inventory Receipts

Riata RF replicates the inventory receiving process in the Pro Series accouting system. Inventory is entered into the accounting tables in real time as items are scanned or key entered from the HHD's. Riata RF utilizes the general ledger information and costing rules set up in the accounting system and prompts for required information according to pre-set requirements of stores, bins, etc.

Inventory Issues

This Riata RF module monitors the outgoing flow of inventory utilizing the inventory configuration and general ledger rules set up in the accounting system. Once the quantity to be issued is entered the inventory is removed from item counts and then saved in real time as an issue in Pro Series.

Inventory Transfers

By using a wireless HHD in the warehouse an emplyee simply scans or key enters the "from" and "to" locations of items to be transfered either before or right after the physical re-location. Riata RF will prompt for store, lot, bin, etc. as required by the inventory accounting rules. Once saved on the HHD the new location data is entered into the Pro Series inventory file.

Inventory Item Inquiry

Riata RF becomes the "GPS" of inventory on hand. By scanning or key entering any combination of inventory data Riata RF will display item location, quantities, etc. This Riata RF System module advances logistics planning and management into real time accuracy!

License Plate

A pallet, container, etc. can be identified with a bar coded license plate. Multiple items are assigned to the license plate. Riata RF can then track the physical movements and conditions such as locations, quantities, contents, etc. of the assigned inventory through the license plate bar code. The License Plate module integrates with most other Riata RF modules to increase efficiencies and accuracies of inventory logistics and acounting management.

Work Order Picking

With Work Order Picking Riata RF calls in data of selected inventory, such as lots, bins, etc. and posts this information into a bill of materials (BOM). The inventory is scanned or key entered from the HDD so that all components associated with a work order are organized at the point of selection for posting to finished goods at the appropriate time. When finished goods are processed in the accounting system the selection of quantities, lots, stores, bins, serial numbers, etc. is brought in from the Riata RF work order pick file.
